Angel Hernandez Remembered as Talented Runner and Dedicated Student
FORT WORTH, TEXAS - The Fort Worth community is mourning the loss of Angel Hernandez, a 16-year-old sophomore at Chisholm Trail High School, who tragically died shortly after finishing a cross country race.
On Friday, October 13th, Angel Hernandez crossed the finish line in first place in a three-mile race. However, he collapsed and became unresponsive shortly after. Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Angel Hernandez was a dedicated student and athlete who had recently run his best time in the three-mile race. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and teammates.
